I was raised on a family farm in small town, rural Saskatchewan, Canada.  (I actually still live in that same small town!) I'm incredibly fortunate to have grown up where I did....in nature with an abundance of wildlife all around me. I am a wildlife artist that strives for realism. From an early age, the rustic allure of wildlife fascinated me, leading me to become an ardent nature enthusiast.  As a teenager, I remember going out with my mom's old camera, trying to capture the creatures I aspired to draw. This love for everything natural has stayed with me into my adult life, and now inspires me in my artwork where I strive to capture the raw and entrancing beauty of the wild, making an effort to bring each animal to life on canvas. My commitment to details and realism helps me depict my subjects in their most authentic form, hopefully allowing viewers to experience the same amazement and wonder that I feel when I immerse myself in nature.  My hope is to bring the peace of the wild into your home with my art.
